Not Your Father’s Allante - The 1991 Cadillac Allante Value Leader

Cadillac has been blessed with many award-winning designs, including the Cadillac Allante of 1991. There are two trim levels to the Allante, including Base and Value Leader. The Value Leader version is one of the more popular options. Like in 1990 the popular 4.5 liter Cadillac has made this a popular choice for convertible buyers around the world.

Performance

Cadillac Allante Engine Specs: The Allante Value Leader comes outfitted with a Cadillac 4.5 liter, 8-cylinder motor that uses 16 valves. The engine, manufactured by General Motors, is teamed up with a Hydra-Matic 4-speed transaxle. This arrangement has demonstrated to be an effective style for Cadillac.

The Allante uses power-assisted brakes, with 4-Wheel ABS support. The front brakes are disc while the rear brakes are disc. Steering is handled through a power-steering rack-style configuration. The car uses coil and leaf springs front and rear respectively.

The fuel system for the 1991 Allante is a traditional SFI, running on gasoline fuel. The fuel is controlled by an electronic system and is a fuel-injected MFI design. The capacity of the fuel tank is 22.00 gallons.
